The Victorinox Craftsman is a discontinued 91mm model, with a large tool set in six layers, first introduced around 1973, it had a historical connection to the American Space Program.
This model was current during the period when Victorinox were making many changes to their tool line up, so many slightly different configurations have been produced. The major change being the Pliers implement replacing the fish scaler in 1986/1987
The customer provided most parts of this build. After adding the pliers and the backside phillips, it was almost a craftsman, as it lacks the metal file. All Craftsman versions had a metal file, so I’m calling this ‘Slim’.
A factory-fresh Spartan provided it’s wood scales, which are a pain in the *** to get off. These ones aren’t glued: after putting the Spartan in the freezer for one night, i very gently pried them off.
This example has OEM (unfinished) liners.
